Phillies President Dave Montgomery admits he made "a mistake" when the team allowed Brett Myers to pitch the day after being arrested for hitting his wife on a Boston street. He also added that letting Myers pinch-hit less than 24 hours after holding up a liquor store was "a bad decision," and allowing him to reach a contract incentive by counting his wife as a "hit by pitcher" was "probably the wrong way to handle it."
